Our open software architecture makes it easy for you to address future requirements with technology upgrades which enables the software to dynamically update on demand, without requiring modification of the source code & application update process. What that means is that we can easily & quickly support most of the models if the camera meets our functional requirements right after some tests. Our team made the new cameras possible to be added right after tapping a “reload” button.

Settings for Motion Detection & E-Mail Alarm

In portrait mode, swipe from right to left till you have found the ‘Motion Detect & E-Mail Alarm” screen. You can enable “Motion Detect Armed” and “Send Mail on Alarm” at the same time, only if just toggle “Motion Detect & E-mail Alarm” button ON with adjustable motion sensitivity up to 10 steps. Please note this control requires admin account login. It is disabled using user login.

How to Setup

Please refer to the screenshot below to get a better understanding of how to select a camera model in your setup screen. We will take you through the step by step procedure on installing the app in case you have the FOSCAM FI8918W Wireless IP camera.

1. Tap on Add Camera

2. Camera name: Enter the name you want to assign to the camera

3. Username: Enter the Username of the camera (case sensitive)

4. Password: Enter the Password of the camera (case sensitive)

5. Select a Camera Model: PanTilt -> FI8918W by a picker then back to Setup screen

6. IP or DDNS: Enter IP address or DDNS URL without “http://"

7. Port: Enter the Port number on which the camera is installed

8. Function Setup: toggle Resolution, Pan Tilt options ON/OFF etc.

9. Tap on Save button then back to Setup screen

10. Tap on Common Settings: Passcode Lock, 3G Notification, Auto-Lock
